I am the owner of a small online consulting business and I am looking for an Arduino/Raspberry Pi/Embedded Systems Developer. I am doing consulting projects for clients using these platforms, and I am looking for somebody to take on some of these projects.
You will be in charge of:
- dealing with the clients and defining the precise specifications of the project
- delivering a prototype (software and a precise description of the hardware) of the project based on the chosen platform, for example Arduino
- iterating over the prototype so it suits the client's needs
Your skills should include:
- Excellent knowledge in analog & digital circuits design
- Excellent knowledge of 'makers' platforms like Arduino and/or the Raspberry Pi
- Good level in written & spoken English
You will be fully integrated inside our task management software, and also in our team chat so we can all stay in contact & work efficiently together.
Note that our business works on fixed-price basis for every project (you can see it as 'service packages'). Therefore, we will always agree on fixed price for each task I give you.
The position is therefore part-time to start with, but it can be extended to a full-time position in the future. I really want to build a strong team for my business and I am always hiring with a long-term cooperation in my mind.
