I'm the technical project manager so I'll know real quick if tasks are being deleted.
We are in need of a foreign senior level Magento Developer with strong development skills in building custom built Magento solutions. We need someone who can drive the technical architecture piece with absolute flawlessness and professionalism. Our client is looking to build an internal CRM/ERP/INV/ORDER Management solution to replace their current cloud solution, Bright Pearl. Its not required, but any exposure to Bright Pearl would be a huge plus.
Unfortunately due to Bright Pearl's inadequate support for fixing issues and also limited means to customize bright pearl to fit their internal needs, our client wants to build a custom solution that they can build exactly to their needs. They want a solution that mimics Bright Pearls architecture but is tailed to their workflow and process needs.
Considering they are paying $2500/month on Bright Pearl licenses and other inefficiencies that come at a cost it makes sense for them to make the investment. A big part of the move is the flexibility in that they can flex the solution overtime through the use of a dedicated resource that will be there on an ongoing basis upon completion of the project.
So this project will require a developer that not only build extensions,themes but is effective in process management, understands the basics of inventory, order and sales management.
I'm expecting this project to be very long as you can probably imagine the time it takes in replicating Bright Pearls capabilities.
The client is using about 5 sales channels(3d Cart, Ebay,Shopify,etc). They are using shipworks to fulfill shipments.
We are still capturing all the information on what modules are being used on Bright Pearl, but we are on the assumption that all modules are being used. If you go to Bright Pearl's website you will see what those are. The client is currently engineering the workflow as to what goes on when an order is placed to when it arrives and what back office activities are occurring during and after the process ends.
We need someone who is flexible in their availability. We will try our best to be as accommodating for individuals not working in US timezones, but one would need to be open to at least working during their evenings if in a different timezone.
Solid theme development skills is also important since usability will play a big factor in the endorsement of the solution within the company.
We use Zoho Projects for tracking of time. We will communicate through Skype and Go-To-Meeting throughout the project.
As of now we are getting the current state situation figured out through workflows
We will proceed mapping out every bit of detail that occurs in the system and determine what are the technical requirements such as extensions or custom extensions.
This is where you will be involved. Lot of verbal and written communication
From there we will establish wireframes and designs and then proceed with the development
Rate for the project is $20/hour.

- 6+ Years of experience with Mogento Module development (actions, hooks, filters)
- 6+ years of experience with PHP (client using PHP5)
- 6+ Years of experience with MySQL
- 6+ Years of experience working in a Linux environment (shell)
- 6+ Years of experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript/Jquery
- 6+ eCommerce (shopping cart) experience
