Hello, i am in the need of a developer for an eCommerce cloud system, the project consists of 2 parts, bare in mind, that the requirements are not set in stone, if you have a better suggestion for the architecture, we can discuss it, and it can be changed.
A) A central system, the system needs to be able to accept new users, who will pay for a membership, when the payment is completed, the system needs to create a new sub-folder on the server, where this users webshop will reside. A SQL database, and a FTP user with appropriate permissions will also be created and assigned as belonging to this folder / user.
The central system will provide super-admins, with an overview of the current users, their information, folder location, etc (this can be minimalistic).
B) The newly created sub-folder will contain a eCommerce installation, this installation will have a backend the user can access, he will be able to change the name of his site, change some basic settings about his site, such as creating new simple pages, changing product prices, etc (there will be limits imposed on these settings tho).
This will be a mini CMS eCommerce system, that will be deployed, for every user.
The central system, and the eCommerce installation, will have to be custom, i am leaning towards Symfony, and Sylius, since there is a great deal of customization needed. The user accessible backend, will be minimalstic at first tho.
The project will probably run on a Amazon EC2 cloud, again, suggestions are welcome. You will be working with me, i am a long term symfony developer.
And i have already developed many of the parts that will be included in the system. All the API's we will be working with have good documentation, and i will probably be implementing them my self, so core development will probably be your primary job, there are a lot of symfony bundles that can save a lot of time.
What do we expect?
We expect that you can put quite a lot of hours into the project, you need an understanding of how an MVC framework works, i have high OOP, MVC standards, these need to meet, since this system will be developed on a lot. And it will probably be expanded.
All the code will be reviewed, so hack and slash solutions will not be accepted.
UNIX server experience is also a major plus, since we will be running on our own server in the cloud, i could use some help with the setup.
Experience with Sylius and / or FOS bundles is also a major plus.
Your primary concern will be the backend system. We have a designer for the frontend.
