We are a brand new start-up located in Melbourne Australia preparing for our 2015 launch. We make Australian business owners lives easier by helping them better manage and protect their businesses through complete electronic business management and security packages. Our vision is to be Australia's most loved provider in our industry.
Our company was born out of a dissatisfaction with the attitudes, level of service and lack of philanthropy found in the business security space.

YOUR ROLE:
You know how to seed a story via Reddit, you can build a thriving community on Instagram, and you know how to utilise Twitter for maximum impact. Facebook is second nature to you, and you've created more successful Facebook Ad campaigns than you can possibly remember.

We're looking for a genuine Social Media Specialist who brings knowledge of the latest social media platforms, and the creativity to use them effectively for both community growth and engagement.
Our goal is to be the #1 digital publisher of business security advice in Australia, and you can play a significant role in achieving this outcome.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Pushing the boundaries with strategies and ideas that will build and drive an engaged and active community.
- Building presence on the latest, most edgy community sites such as Reddit.
- Content creation and curation for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn.
- Scheduling some posts via Buffer.
- Insights and Reporting.
- Distribution of content.
- Engaging with communities, using latest advertising products.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to manage content schedule.
- Researching and compiling web data and news articles to write content on.
THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR WILL BE:
- A team player who loves working with positive people.
- A life-long learner with hunger to stay at the cutting edge.
- Experienced in social media marketing (1-2 years minimum experience in a social media role), with successful case studies ready to demonstrate.
- Innovative in their thinking.
- Capable of driving fast growth in social media communities, whilst maintaining a high level of engagement.
- Outcome focused with a make-it-happen energetic attitude.
You will be experienced in providing clear and accurate reporting on a regular basis. Your reporting will include not only raw numbers, but also insights into what the numbers mean, and inclusive of any significant trends in terms of interactions and engagement.
TO BE ELIGIBLE YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- A <3 year old laptop with built in webcam
- A fast and stable broadband connection,
- A residence that is not prone to downtime of utilities, especially internet and power,
- At least one mobile broadband connection as a backup,
- The ability to relocate yourself quickly if you need to,
- Excellent, and we mean EXCELLENT grasp of the English language, both written and oral,
- A mobile phone with a good carrier,
- A Skype account for video/audio conferencing,
- A Google account,
- Drive, Ambition, Intelligence, Focus, Determination, Self-Confidence, Coachability and Big Dreams.
