my name is Andreas Hein, I'm an engineer and I'm looking for people who can help to solve some of my technical challenges.
Maybe you are the right person to do this.
I look for a coach/teacher/supporter for Software-Development with the open source version of platform independent C++ framework Qt.

You should have good and deep skills in development of Qt applications in C++ for Windows and Linux, using openGL, setting up IDEs.
If you have additional skills in teaching/coaching, almost perfect ;) .
I does the main work (especially in the beginning), you are the expert-coach and guide me.
Work loop:

It will be a mixture of teaching/coaching/knowledge transfer and extreme programming and parallel work.
→ teaching/coaching/knowledge:
I ask something and you have to give an working and true answer in an appropriate way and time.
Sometimes there will be different small, more general questions, which can be answered within minutes via Skype Call (no coding, only knowledge transfer). Then there may are support cases in which direct access (Skype, TeamViewer, etc. ) is needed to solve a problem, or review configuration or correct code.
Often, you will just sit and talk and watch, what happens on my screen.
→ extreme programming:
You and me working parallel on my screen (on my server) via remote connection and VoIP call.
→ parallel work:
Sometimes, mainly later on when I have the general understanding, it may happen, that you do the needed development tasks, I do something different (for the shop, maybe prepare content).
If you need time to do background investigations for a topic, you have to tell me the estimated time in advance.
My main target is to speed up my own learning work!
This job is only interesting for people who are online (with fast Internet connection) and who speak a well English to explain technical things (to an IT engineer).
You should be honest, friendly, patient, smart & fast. Then this can be a long relationship.
Don't think, it will be easy! ;) (...or maybe it is … fun and success :) )
Do you take the opportunity?
Requirements:
You should be able to clearly explain things in good English language.
You should have good and depp skills in C++ and Qt on Windows and Linux.
You should have a fast Internet connection and HW speed to live code on my system via remote desktop tools.
Because of private reasons I have to be flexible in time, you should be flexible too.
This is not an continuous hourly job, it is a job by request! There is no fixed amount of time per week for example (can be 30 hours, but also can be 0 hours).
Every time I will measure the time to have a fair base for payment calculations (and you can use the time tracker tool).
You do not have to develop something for me! Instead, you have to help me to develop things in Qt.
Most parts of the job are support in configure IDE's and correct(bug fixing)/describe/explain code examples (via Skype) and maybe write small examples.
The focus in the beginning lays in “teaching by request”.
This is a tiny privately driven project, so there is no big budget behind. It's education.
