Product Sourcing and Professional negotiations ( Retail buyer) - oDesk

We are looking for a very talented and extremely aggressive person to product source for our retail company ultimately for a long term position. We need someone to find new suppliers in certain industries. Once suppliers are found the position will require that you determine a minimum profit margin and prepare an order for a senior buyer to approve and submit. This position will be temporary with minimum hours at first. Once we have determined that the orders are profitable we are happy to increase hours and will also be willing to share profits / give bonuses after 45 days of successful buys. We have a very specific aggressive strategy that will yield all of us great results as long as the correct products are sourced in a timely manor. We are willing to pay top dollar for the right person. Unfortunately we are only interested in applicants from the US. Time zones are not a problem however due to hundreds of calls needing to be made in the US, someone living and working in the US is an absolute must. Experience in retail / ecommerce buying is absolutely required to be accepted for this position.



Anyone experienced in creating private label brands and or importing from overseas will be strongly considered for this position as well.



Also anyone experienced with buying closeouts and / or distressed merchandise will be strongly considered.
