We are a group of independent thinkers with an extreme technology oriented bent and are an employer of choice with a friendly and strong corporate culture. Several of our remote staff has been with us for over 5 years now.
Although the work is done remotely and our people are contractors, we treat them like employees. All work for us is done remotely from your home office.
We have an immediate need for more creative technical writing staff as we have many projects that come in on an ongoing basis and we are growing quickly. Our people set the number of hours they want to work per week and we commit to giving them that many. This typically is in the 30-50 hours per week range. Moonlighting is okay for the first few months while we are still feeling each other out for fit, but is not allowed after that. The work we do is complex and requires full mindshare.
We operate in EST and do require that you be available from 9-5, though you are given a lot of flexibility to manage your own time within that period, client work permitting.

Necessary Experience:
• Must have at least 3 years industry experience in software and/or web development.
• Must have industry experience outside of writing that includes creative flow, risk-taking, and multi-threaded approaches to problem solving.
• Must have experience in creative problem solving difficult obstacles.
Absolutely Necessary Skillsets:
• Must be organized and efficient. This means capitalizing and prioritizing assignments in the order of importance quickly and accurately.
• Must have a heightened awareness of errors and mistakes. This means you must be skilled in grammar, punctuation, and the rules of writing.
• You must be able to plan the work and work the plan. This includes follow through ability, patient endurance, and an organized mind.
• Must be likeable. This means you are very relatable, reliable, prompt, friendly, enthusiastic, and fearless when speaking.
• Must have a desire to get to the bottom of issues through research, analytical reasoning, and effective problem solving.
• Must be able to develop cohesive solutions to impossible problems.
• Must be able to creatively incorporate language that fits certain scenarios in order to paint the right picture.
• Must be able to convey certain ideas in a variety of ways without compromising the integrity of the final meaning.
• Must be able to enjoy exploring unconventional approaches to traditional ideas.
• Must be both clever and imaginative when confronted by certain obstacles.
• Must be able to marry technical wording with creative flair.
