Windows Remote Technical Support Professional - Ongoing (British Nationals Please) - oDesk

We are looking for an individual who will act as a Windows Technical Support Professional providing support to domestic and small business clients remotely.

Our online technical support service is a new venture (only a few weeks old) but has its roots in an on-site support business of many years.

What the role entails:

- Providing remote support to clients via Teamviewer or by phone if technical issues prevent the user connecting the internet. (currently 1 - 2 / day)
- Receiving sales / support enquiries via phone and email (currently 1 - 4 / day)
- A 'no missed calls' ethos.
- A maximum response time of 30 mins on emails.
- An creative 'lateral thinking' approach to providing technical assistance to non-technical users who may not have a current internet connection.

This role would suit somebody who wants to / is already working from a home office. The volume is small at present but I envisage that the number of daily customers will increase.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience in providing 1st line technical support to end users.
- Expert knowledge of current and historic Windows OSs, Anti-virus / Firewalls, and common applications.
- Very good organisation & communication skills.

Bonus Skills & Experience

- Linux, Mac technical support skills.
- Window Server technical support skills.

    Guess what? This is exactly what big companies are paying me for. They need to know what their average customer needs and wants. So large companies pay $1,000,000's of dollars each month to the average person. In return, the average person, myself included, fills out surveys and gives them their opinion.
