This full-time, Madison-Based engineer is responsible for the design, build, operation and support of all Servers, Appliances, Storage Area Networks, Manual and Automated Server Installations, vSphere architecture, and Cloud management platforms for all virtual infrastructure initiatives. Includes load balancing and proactive monitoring. Responsibilities include establishing and enforcing the disaster recovery plan, which includes a backup cycle for all servers. Shall perform hands-on fixes at the server level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications. Shall oversee installation and maintenance of cloud and hybrid cloud related technology. Uses analytics tools to proactively track and analyze trends in CPU, storage, and RAM usage as well as network throughput and IOPS.



This engineer shall have proven excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Understanding of WAN / LAN security systems and the protection and safeguarding of PHI data. Ability to use intelligence, scripting, and tools. Proficiency with:



Public cloud technologies

VMware (vSphere and View)

Virtual networking

SAN equipment (HP and EMC)

Email systems (Exchange)

Cisco Switches and ASA

Site to Site VPN Tunnels

MS Office Suite 2007 / 2010 / 2013

Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 desktop operating systems

Windows 2008 / 2012 server operating systems

DNS, Active Directory and Group Policy

SQL 2005 / 2008 / 2012

Unitrends DPU and Vault appliances



The ideal candidate for this position will have an Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and 5+ years of systems administration experience, including advanced knowledge of VMware and public and hybrid clouds. Microsoft, Cisco, VMware or Storage certifications and healthcare industry experience are a plus!

Chrome extension to collect data from specific web pages - oDesk

Here is the flow

The user:

- installs the extension

- authenticates using linkedIn (through a proxy API provided) and retrieve an API_KEY

- visits on one of the 4 selected pages

- clicks on the extension to save information about the page (name, education, experience, interests…)



The extension

- scans the page and collect the data

- call an API (already developed) and push the data using JSON



The extension will not be published on the Chrome Store. It's just for my use. The design is minimal as it's a proof of concept.
