Smart Phone App
The basic idea is to develop an application to assist groups of people to share photos between themselves.
This is to make a user friendly version of whatsapp with only the capacity to share photos.
When people would like to share photos or videos of an event/function/holiday or situation they can create a file/share group and add the relevant people to this group through their phone contacts list.
They can send upload the photos to the forum only to be viewed by those included. The members of the group will then have the ability to save those photos to their device with ease.
Functions:
- Title each photo
- Edit photos
- Add a description or quote to each photo
- Any user can select the available photos to download to their own devices
Example
-When a group of people go on a holiday they can take photos and continually share them in a customised group for that trip. At the conclusion of the trip every person in that group has access the the photos and can pick and choose easily which photos they would like to keep on their own devices.
This app does not involve releasing your photos to the wider public (Facebook), this is an app designed for private groups. This gives people to opportunity to share their photos in a very user friendly format with eases.
The app will provide a great range of options when sorting photos that have been collected. The app will have the ability to filter by the person that took the photo, the people tagged and the time the photo was taken.
The app design
Simple and easy but customisable to suit all situations.
It will need to connect with the contacts list and be able to send a receive data.
It will need access to the photo gallery/library on the phone to access the photos
It will need to be able to tag names to images
It will need basic photo editing options
Eventually i would like to incorporate facial recognition into the options for sorting through photos of an event. Allowing users to identify all the photos that contain a specific person.
I'm looking for the a freelancer to develop a prototype.
I believe there is a gap in the market for an app like this and I would like to explore to possibility of filling it.
