I am looking for someone that has an excellent grasp of current industry best practices regarding SEO and familiar with Yoast. English writing is crucial, because meta descriptions, tags and titles will need to be written well, and not as if English was a second or third language.
The person needs to have prior experience with WordPress and able to work some U.S. hours. All U.S. hours if possible. We are not looking for someone that says they know things and doesn't. All potential candidates will be tested and eliminated as needed.
The job may be part-time at first but will certainly be full-time within a month or so. We only need to earn trust in a person's ability to optimize content well, locate great images relevant for posts etc.... Again, we are not looking for someone that is a newbie. This is not a position for someone that is not organized and able to meet demands and work hard.

We have a lot of content that we publish daily on several different websites.
Do not apply if your on-site optimization skills are outdated. If you're the daily article reader of searchengine land, seomoz, greywolf, seobook and the like, you'll probably be a great asset.
We only work in TEXT or HTML and not using VISUAL within the WYSIWYG editor, so HTML is crucial and CSS wouldn't hurt.
