We are looking for a smart developer to join our team and take the leadership and all front-end related tasks. The project uses Ruby on Rails on back-end, and we would work probably directly inside the Rails application using SCSS / coffeescript.
Tasks:
- rewrite some pages with clean quality code. Repect the stylesheet and javascript folder structure (scss and coffee files), using sass variables and mixins, to make code DRY, understandable and scalable.
- create some pages simply from a design (image file)
- communicate with me through skype when needed.
Skills:
- be able to work fast while producing quality code. (this is the most important criteria to decide who to hire)
- know Ruby on Rails well
- be a css/scss crack
- be a javascript/jquery guru
I can propose a fixed price project using milestones, and we can continue working if I am happy with both programming SPEED and CODE QUALITY.
Of course, I will give you some more details about the job to be done if I select you.
