NBC News Digital is looking for an expert, experienced iOS developer to continue development of a video streaming app. The app integrates with Wowza Media Servers and various other RESTful webservices, including those necessary for social login via Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
Skills we're looking for:
- Expert knowledge of Obj-C, Swift, iOS 7+, and rapid development in Xcode
- Proficiency with UX design and usability issues
- Experience integrating with RESTful, JSON-based webservices
- Proficiency with social platform integration (Facebook, Twitter, and Google+)
- Experience with embedded video and cross-platform issues (e.g. from Wowza Media Servers)
- Outstanding communication skills and fast response time
- Excellent collaboration skills working on a shared codebase
- Beautiful, well-structured code
- Fluency with Agile and post-Agile practices and their tools (e.g. JIRA, GitHub, Git Flow)
