Small e-commerce business searching for a China Sourcing Assistant.
We're a small enthusiastic business located in Norway which is going to start sell kitchenware through amazon.com in USA. Pretty soon we're going to send our first inventory order from our supplier in China to Amazon. This will be our first product of many.
We're new to this business and aiming to be among the best. Therefore we need a China Sourcing Assistant that can give us advice and act as a representative for our company.
Areas we need your help with:
- Finding and evalulating suppliers.
- Negotiating.
- Communication between us and our supplier.
- Quality control.
- Understanding and adapting to Chinese business culture.
- Translating documents.
- Importing to U.S. from China.
- Getting our orders finished in time.
And any other area related to the importing business.
So basiclly we need your help from finding a great supplier to getting our inventory to the Amazon warehouses.
Examples of what kind of assignments that we might give you:
- Take a trip to our supplier and do a quality check of our finished order.
- Answering questions on how we could arrange our shipping in the best way.
- Help us understanding what a Chinese supplier really says when giving us information about something.
Our intention is to establish a long term relationship with you that will last for years. We want you to have following qualifications:
- Chinese native speaker.
- Fluent English (Oral, written and reading)
- Exporting experience from China to U.S..
- Experience from helping Amazon clients and/or other small e-commerce businesses.
- Have a great understanding of the mindset of the Chinese suppliers.
As person we want you to be:
- Easygoing and positive. You're down to earth and like talking to people. You love your work.
- Service oriented. We want you to be available when we need your help.
- Aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Everybody has them. We want your strengths and you should be able to manage your weaknesses.
