16-bit Style Platform Game - oDesk

Hey, I'm currently working on a game based on a Superhero indie film I worked on in 2012. The style of the game is a 16-bit retro vibe and the artwork is being worked on at the moment. The story is a drama/comedy and dives into mature themes. I want to work with someone who is knowledgable about making a general working 2D engine in Unity. Make title screens, level select, powerups, collectables, money and shops, enemies health.

I also want to work on this game in segments and work at a nice slow pace - first starting with the character controller and then implementing different features as the game get's built.

I have the hero's sprite sheet ready and I need a controller for unity 3D.

This includes moves like left, right, jump, grab ledge, wall jump, and a whip attack that can also be used to swing on certain parts of the level. I also have the background and test level ready.

I want it to feel nice for the best possible platform experience. Something along the lines of Megaman but with a hilarious take on the superhero genre.

Contact me for more info. I am ready asap.
