I'm looking for a pair programming partner/mentor for a small mobile project. You'll need to be available from 7 PM - 10 PM PST (San Diego, CA, USA) at least 2 nights per week for an online video call (Google Hangout or GoToMeeting) where you will tell me how to program what I'm trying to build. I can be flexible on the times a bit.
I'm working on a small mobile application which acts as an authentication layer to a website and I really don't know iOS or Android. I need someone who can tell me what to type (pair programming) in order to build the features for a mobile app.
As a result, I require that you have at least a 5Mbps connection and a good microphone or cell phone you can call into the call with. You should also be comfortable with describing technical concepts verbally.
Here are the features I need to build for both Android and iOS.
- Build a login screen
- Authenticate with an existing web service via an HTTP REST API using a POST call and I need to pass a header field value.
- Once authenticated open a web view to an existing site and in the URL pass a token.
- Setup a Socket.IO type connection between the web server and web app (the web server side of this hasn't been built yet but is in progress)
- Help me submit my app to the iOS app store and Android app store.
I would love to build this in Swift but if ObjectiveC is all you know then that is fine. If you are an expert at iOS but not at Android and vica versa then please still apply.
I also already have a development environment setup for iOS and Android.
