We are looking for an experienced transcription specialist to work with us on a number of long-term projects. We are part of a network that require transcription specialists on an on-going basis.
We have several interviews that we need to be transcribed in English with more to follow in the next few weeks.
For quality work provided, we will provide excellent feedback and testimonials for your profile and website. See my previous feedback for examples
The audio files will have two voices, a single interviewer and a single interviewee.
The average length of the audio file will be an hour.
All of the dialogue needs to be transcribed in full; with each speaker indicated and regular time stamps, formatted in an easy to read manner.
Each transcription is required to be prepared in a separate formatted document.
You will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and scan a copy to be returned to us prior to working with us.
We are interested in hearing from you if you
*Have an excellent command of the English language
*Have previous experience of this kind of work
*Are reliable
*Have a keen attention to detail
*Provide accurate work
*Respect deadlines
*Conducts yourself in a professional manner
*Proofread your work prior to submitting it to a client
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a short transcription test for which you will be paid a fixed amount to be confirmed if shortlisted.
We are looking for an ongoing relationship that is why we are willing to pay you for your time if shortlisted. We appreciate your skill and will treat you accordingly.

*If you are a native speaker or the highest level of english education you have.
*The accents that you are comfortable transcribing
*Your your bid and TAT for 60 mins of audio.
*Please note we are not asking for your hourly rate, we want to know how much you charge for transcribing 60 mins of an audio recording
*Please provide an example of your best work and let us know the time taken to produce it. We will expect you to produce work of this standard if hired.
Please note that we are more interested in receiving quality accurate, well presented work than an extremely fast TAT. Our jobs are urgent but rarely require a TAT of less than 24 hours.
We are more concerned with accuracy, completeness and attention to detail. Work that is presented in a way that is useful for an end reader will have an advantage.
