Senior J2EE Developer required - no agents please - oDesk

Senior J2EE Developer required to propose, design and implement new and innovative web and database designs supporting the needs of all business units and ensuring excellence in client satisfaction and outcome.



Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

- Strong experience in developing Java/J2EE applications using Spring MVC - 3.5+, Hibernate 3.5+ and JPA

- Strong experience building web applications and high-performance web services

- Maven and Ant experience

- Capability to work across the backend, integration and front end using Javascript (JQuery), HTML, CSS

- Working experience with MSSQL and MySQL

- Experience with Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration

- Apache Tomcat and HTTP experience

- Software engineering practices and good knowledge of Design Patterns and Object Oriented Design Principles

- GIt version control experience.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
