Convert an existing design to be responsive - oDesk

We are looking to convert our existing web application, into a mobile / responsive design.



Responsibilities:



- Hand-code clean, semantic, standards-compliant, responsive HTML5 and CSS3 from our existing application.

- Test, identify & debug html, css & javascript

- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display in major supported browsers on Mac, PC, iOS, and Android platforms.

- Clearly communicate the intricacies of complex web development issues

- Migrate content when needed.





Skills Required:



- Expert HTML & CSS (including HTML5, CSS3 & Bootstrap 3) skills with full understanding of web standards and responsive design techniques.

- Past experience with portfolio.

- Experience working with grid-based responsive web design.

- Ability to estimate time and level of effort accurately for development tasks.

- Experience using Git source control





Skills Preferred:



- An understanding of jQuery and other JavaScript libraries.

- Experience with mockup tools (eg Balamiq)
