Hello, I need a person or a team who can help me with an app. I have an idea for an app that scans receipts and turns it into clickable data. What I need help with first is to set up optical character recognition (OCR) that can accurately identify information on a printed receipt.
I have made a few apps before so I know Android decently well. I would like to start with android, but then move into iOS and Windows after a little success. Getting OCR to work on Android is the most important part first.
A good candidate for this job is a person who has done OCR work before. Also acceptable is a person who has done receipt or finance tracking. Please point me to a few of the apps you have made. Right now I need OCR that is integrated into Java/Android. First we can work on the OCR app. If that goes well, I would like to form a long term on going consulting relationship.
