12 Newsletters: how to improve business, copywriting - oDesk

We're launching a business that will help small businesses grow by providing them services that they generally can't afford to do on their own internally & will have to outsource. So, these services may include things like web design & development, 24 hour receptionist coverage, data entry, lead generation, graphic design, appointment setting, etc.

We're still trying to decide what services to offer these small businesses.

One of the things we would like to have is 12 newsletters to send to subscribers on a weekly basis. The idea is to state a problem that a small business could potentially address, then tie it in with a service we can provide with a strong call to action.

The tone should be casual and conversational, but packed with facts and statistics (backed with citations). The formula should probably follow something like this:

- headline that is a number (percentage, ratio, etc.) followed by a sub-headline -- ala infographic

- elaboration of the problem

- explanation how to solve the problem

- sell our service, call to action
