Custom App For Events Handling - oDesk

I have a share point site and its blank at the moment



what i am trying to achieve is an app or function that only show events that the current user is interested in. for example. I(user) want to see events that are about food and cooking (nothing else). i want to be able to display all events regarding that type on a page.



So firstly:



I want the user to be able to select type of events they like for example, preferences such as food,science,social etc which is then stored and they can change it if they wish



then i have a list of events so i want the app to search through all of it and show only the preferred events that was selected/stored by the user



some things to mention the user has a unique 10 digit ID example 1234567890 that identifies them hope this helps
