Python/Django Developer
Astral Projection Finance is a a brand new startup based in Lyon (France) created in 2013. We provide financial and insurance solutions (B2B / B2C). Our group developed an insurance and financial comparison webapp based on django python and open source platform.
We are looking to hire immediately some developpers to finalize our insurance / financial comparison website.
Skills & Requirements:
3+ years working with Python
3+ years experience with Python web frameworks (Django required)
3+ years working with open-source relational database systems (PostgreSQL)
Feels comfortable and has experience working in a Linux environment (debian 7 preferred)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (French will be a plus)
Ability to accurately estimate work
Commitment to provide quality completed deliverables with well-factored, maintainable code
Experience with VCS (git)
Nice to have
Experience in e-commerce development
Experience building and designing REST-based web services using JSON
Experience with development operations (configuration and installation of apache/nginx/memcached/varnish, etc)
Experience with bootstrap
Experience using javascript frameworks (jQuery, angular, backbone)
