Design and develop an online shopping website that would offer free auction functionality for products under various categories to users



Overview

• The website would have options for customers or vendors to login /register.

• The users will be able to bid, buy or sell products on the website.

• User can view categories, select product and buy or bid for it.

• Users will be paying amount defined by the administrator at the time of listing or selling their items

• Verisign or SSL security will be used at the time when user makes payment online

• User can save products as favorites, track order history, email to a friend through their registered account on the website.

• The website enables the user to sell their products

• There will be a discussion forum/blogs where people can discuss their wedding plans, holidays etc with each other.

• The admin can view various sales and purchase reports apart from managing the users, products etc.

• The website would be integrated with Facebook and Twitter.

• Search engine optimization will be done for the website

• The website will be accessible on mobile browser for platforms such as iPhone, iPad and Android

• Google Adsense will be used for affiliate wedding based advertising within the website

• The website will be W3C and Accessibility complaint
